Kristina Linden presents songs of the great German Divas from the 20’s to the 60’s.
Along lies exceptionally the singer Zarah Leander dear to her heart, who celebrates her
100 birthday on the 15. March. The Cologner discovered her love to Leander in 2005.
Deeply touched by the voice of this woman and moved by her life story she decided to
assemble this program.
In “Time of Nostalgia - reminiscence of Zarah Leander“ additionally further great singers
from the last century are appearing, the likes of Marlene Dietrich, Hildegard Knef and Alexandra
to appertain. All in all a round and extraordinary program.
Kristina Linden
From the very beginning music was part of her life.
Already in the early 90’s the young Cologner had her first stage debut.
Even then she had hit the mood with her extraordinary warm vocals.
From the mid 90’s her expressive vocals were part of diverse bands.
This cumulated in stage performances for many years with the
eight-man line up “Moni & Friends”.
At the end of the 90’s Kristina Linden was chosen amongst more than
a 1000 candidates by a large Cologne Gazette to take part in a guest roll
for the Musical “Sekretärinnen”.
Over the years the creative artists never lost sight of her dream project:
Assembling a successful Chanson Project, a vocal and piano formation.
Thomas Guthoff
Thomas Guthoff, born in 1961 studied piano at the Folkwang Academy in Essen-Germany.
Running his own recording Studio since 1989, over 100 CD titles have passed over the mixing desk. A spectrum from classical, jazz, dixie to relaxation music.
With his own label and publishing company Thomas, as a multi talent, further more works as a composer and sound engineer and arranges musical scores.
Since the year 2000 Thomas is the arranger, musical director and conductor for the Cäcillia
Wolkenburg Choir & Orchestra at the Cologne opera.
As a pianist and keyboarder, he worked with various ensembles and bands, followed by
appearances on cruise liners, monthly engagements, gala events and an obligation as
pianist in the Roncalli-Spiegelzelt-Ochestra.
With the engagement as pianist for Kristina Linden in 2006, the many faceted musician
is once again devoted to his secret love: Melodic accompaniment and chanson.
